The Bellefontaine Belle Society, Inc. is now the owner of the Masonic Lodge Hall, which needs a lot of attention to make it useable again as a community center. It will take help from many sources to make this happen.

BELLEFONTAINE - A HISTORICAL HAMLET
Bellefontaine, Mississippi is now designated a Historical Hamlet, which means any former city, town, or village with a current population of less than 600 inhabitants that lost its charter before 1945.
Bellefontaine was formed in 1825 and is the third Historical Hamlet in the state of Mississippi.
